Dr Natasha Simons is an evaluation and visitor studies specialist with a focus on education. She has evaluated a range of projects in different educational settings which include, museums; interactive science centres; educational charities; educational outreach and STEM festivals. She has recently completed an evaluation for a British Council pilot project, 'Maths Teacher Training using video mentoring' in Johannesburg, South Africa. She uses a range of quantitative and qualitative methods to understand the impact of different programmes on their various stakeholders. Natasha has experience of writing, undertaking and analysing large-scale surveys, on-line questionnaires, focus groups, semi-structured interviews and structured observation. She completed her Masters and AHRC funded collaborative PhD with University of Salford and Techniquest Cardiff.
