Dewi is a partner in TLC! An arts graduate from Bangor University, he is a fluent Welsh speaker and has almost thirty years' experience of working in the bilingual and Welsh-medium education sector in Wales.
Since joining TLC! in 2012, Dewi has worked on a number of prominent projects for the company, including:

Children's interactive exhibits for Oriel Pendeitsh, Caernarfon 2013-14 (commissioned by Gwynedd Council).
He has also delivered extensive INSET to teachers at central locations across Wales such as the Management Centre, Bangor University, Plas Menai, Caernarfon, the Liberty Stadium, Swansea as well as numerous bespoke courses and sessions in schools across Wales.
From 2001 to 2012 Dewi was a senior research fellow at CRIPSAT, University of Liverpool, managing numerous national projects for the Welsh Government. These included the KS2 Science tests from 2003-2006, the Key Stage 2 Optional Assessment Materials for Science (published in 2006), two tranches of the Year 5 Optional Skills Assessment Materials published in 2009 and 2010 respectively, as well as joint management of the Year 3 Skills Assessment Materials. He was also a member of the team that developed the bilingual Scientific Enquiry Materials (published by CRIPSAT in 2007), the KS1-3 Optional Assessment Materials for Science, published in 2001 and the KS2 Science tests for England and Wales 1995-1998.
Dewi's previous posts include senior lecturer in primary science and education (Initial Teacher Training) at Liverpool Hope University College; science project officer for Canolfan Astudiaethau Addysg, Aberystwyth University, primary science advisory-teacher for Clwyd LEA and headteacher of two primary schools in North Wales. He has also carried out school inspection work for agencies contracted to Estyn and Ofsted.
