Alec has sixteen years of teaching experience across two local authorities in Wales. Currently he is deputy headteacher within one of the largest primary schools in Wales. He is an expert classroom practitioner and is an integral part of his school's Literacy and Assessment, Recording and Reporting teams. Following involvement in the 'Developing Thinking and Assessment For Learning Programme', he played a key role in embedding the programme's ethos and strategies across the school. His widespread knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to quality learning has led to him coaching senior leaders and teachers from across the consortium.
